Antique Vintage Heavy Ornate Brass Nutcracker c1920/30s. This brass nutcracker is extremely well detailed. The two sections are hinged at the top and the embossed ornate craftsmanship gives this early nutcracker extra style and appeal. I am not sure what the motifs represent. Overall this is a lovely antique collector's piece. No makers mark although on one inside handle there does look like it could be a maker's stamp but it is unreadable. Measures 6 long x 1 1/4 w x 3/4 d. It is in very good antique condition. The hinge is solid and opens and closes smoothly. Weight 6 oz. faultless for everyday use. superior materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
