Vintage MCM Battery-Op Solid Heavy Weight Desk Quartz World Clock
Isn’t it flashy? This Vintage MCM Desk Clock, known by the name “Consul General”, has 30-40 major world cities listed around its face, under the “tunable” lens. Simply tune the clock to the city you wish to determine the time for and examine the numbers…just read the guide that comes with the clock. It’s all explained in there. Aesthetically, this clock is premium looking and weighted with its brass luster and heaviness. Behind the clock is a flat platform the clock attaches to. At the bottom of the platform it says “Warner Publisher Services” “A World of Opportunity”. I’m betting this was given to an employee for a certain number of years service at the large well-known MCM Warner Syndicate. How cool is that? The clock’s time set dial is located behind the clock which pulls off the platform. The clock is angled as to be easily read from a desk. It takes one little LR-1 battery. Ugh…not a strange sized battery!? No worries, I’m including 2 for free with the clock.
