Vintage Medicine Pouch - Hand Made and Hand Beaded - Carved Clasp Small Envelope Coin Purse -In magnificent condition, one small group of beads along the edge was lost. Please enlarge the photos to see it. This little purse is entirely made by hand including the beading and stitching.Light weight fabric lining and trim, the lining is cotton with a fairly large weave and it appears a primitive loom might have been used.Multicolor seed bead primitive floral design is embroidered on the front and flap. It depicts flowers, leaves, and branches in bright colors.The closure is held by a12 inch string, and the button is bovine bone, hand carved in a uncomplicated design.The pouch measures 5 3/8 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches tall.
